Wedding | Shwu Shya & Yu Seng | Kuching

Shwu Shya & Yu Seng | Both of them are working and staying in Melaka. Yu Seng is from Kuching where as Shwu Shya is from Johor. Meeting them for the first time here in Kuching to go through their wedding plans, I know I will be having fun on the wedding day. Which I did and each wedding are fun and unique to photograph.

Wedding | Veronique & Peterson | Kuching

Meet Veronique & Peterson at Harbour View Hotel  on the day of their wedding early in the morning to photograph them getting ready. Few days before that, we met up to go through their wedding day plans which were still fresh in my head.

Make up & hair styling provided by Micklong Studio. Church ceremony were held at St. Joseph Catheral.Its an honored to have witnessing & photographing their vow and love to each other. Soon after ceremony, we headed to Reservoir Park for outdoor portraits session.

Wedding | Yee Kar & Choon Kong in Kuching

Yee Kar & Choon Kong | Month before their wedding day in Kuching, Yee Kar & I communicated through sms/whatsapp & email and meet up few time to discuss on her wedding day details.

Yee Kar was concerned that due to the simplicity of her wedding plan, there might not be things to photograph. I assure her that "There will be plenty of things & moments to photograph on the day" as I treat every wedding differently. 

Ah Yong | The Seasonal Durian Vendor in Kuching

Durian.... Some said its the King of all fruits, some love them and some not. If you love them, you will be hooked by it smell. Like me, I was tempted by the smell and its lead to me Ah Yong's Durian store at first corner shop of Main Bazaar near waterfront when I drove by his store to get to Black Bean Coffee.

Ah Yong sell ABC & Kantong when Durian are not in season. He jokingly said that ABC & Kantong will not be available for few month probably after Chinese New Year. I bought some Durian from Ah Yong which then we chatted and he told me the durian are from a village after Serian Town. Then I asked him something which I've been wanting to document since a year ago. So I asked "Can I follow you tomorrow to photograph while you collecting Durian from the vilagers?" He look at his wife then answer me "Yes you can but we are departing to destination at 4.50am). What a wildcard moment for me!!! we exchange number so I can call to arrange where to meet up the next morning.

Short Break to Sematan Town from July & August.

July & August 2013, we went to Sematan Town a number of time. Well, its our favorite weekend getaway destination and also my favorite place to go fishing together with my captain who live at sematan town.

This blog post are the collection of photo from my trip to Sematan back in July & August 2013. We check out Dynawood beach stay back in July and decided we must stay there for its farm style beach stay. Then in August, I went out fishing on Asym's Boat together with friends before Hari Raya. On Hari Raya, I make a trip up again to visit Asym house and photograph hisfamily portraits as well. Too bad its raining cats & dogs that day. Else can have outdoor family portraits rather than in the house.
