| The Crowd reacted to Diplomats of Drums's performance. |
This Day 2 Part II of RWMF 2012 photo blog post will features images taken during the performance as well as few images before the show started.
Less than an hour into the start of the performance, Hui Hui & I found our-self a spot to the left side of the Jungle Stage where there a small bump just about level with the stage. I set up the tripod which I been carrying since we arrived as I have idea for time laps since the last time I was here (that is 2010). Rigged the camera and will have to manually click the shutter every 2 minutes for more than 30 minutes at this little spot. Kind of hurt on the ankle... worth it really. Do view the video below for the time laps show the crowd moving for the performance.
Day 2 (Saturday) performers are Gongs of Malaysia (Malaysia), Khusugtun (Mongolia), Danyel Waro (Reunion Islands), Diplomats of Drums (Malaysia), Raiz De Cafezal (Brazil) & Cankisou (Czech Republic). I stationed at our little spot most of the time enjoying the music rather than photographing. Soon, I found myself ventures to the stage front while Khusugtun where performing. That really just to get some close up shot of the performers but still I was behind few row of people standing in front of me. Taking a clear shoot requires good timing. Soon after, I left to get back to where Hui Hui is as the crowd began to push themselves toward the stage front and felt kind of uncomfortable and not wanted to risk anything to my camera. Taking few photograph and listening and watching the performers perform feel great under the stars in an open area right under the foot hill of Mt. Santubong.
Hope that you will enjoy the series of pictures and I apologize that I didn't take enough up close pictures. Maybe next time or If I'm the official photog. lol...

Hope you enjoy the images I posted here and feel the energy of the festival! Make sure you come next year if you wanna really experience this. Take my words, come early and attend the workshop.. This will make the whole experience worthwhile as you will learned some new move meeting new people.
